گوگل برای اغلب مناسبت های جهانی، لوگوی ویژه ​ای را به جای لوگوی همیشگی اش قرار می دهد. نوروز سال (۱۳۸۱) هم لوگوی نوروزی این سایت در صفحه اولش قرار گرفت اما بعدازآن دیگر این کار تکرار نشد و حتی این لوگو روی آرشیو لوگوهای مناسبتی گوگل هم قرار نگرفت. ولی دو سال بعد با تلاش همه ایرانیان خصوصا وبلاگ نویسان و سایتهای اینترنتی و فرستادن ایمیل وکامنت به سایت گوگل موفق شدند لوگوی این جشن باستانی را در صفحه گوگل جا دهند واین رسم را به جهانیان معرفی کنند.وحال نوروزایرانی هم مانند کریسمس و مراسم سال-نوی چینی-ها به-رسمیت بشناسند.بیایید امسال نیز از گوگل درخواست کنیم تا برای اولین بار لوگوی خود را در شب چهار شنبه سوری تغییر دهد . تاثیر این کار را دست کم نگیرید !

We are a group of Iranian people and like anybody else we try to keep our culture alive and make it more popular for other countries. We are making a request to Google to design a logo for special events and celebrations. We request and ask you guys to design a logo for one of our most famous celebration called ‘’Charshanbeh Souri’’, which we use fireworks to celebrate it. This is an ancient Persian festival dating at least to 1700 BCE of the early Zoroastrian era and it holds in last Tuesday of the year and we start the new year by ending that night.
Another tradition of this day is to make special ajeel, or mixed nuts and berries. People wear disguises and chadors and go door to door knocking on doors. Receiving of the Ajeel is customary, as is receiving of a bucket of water.
We believe Faravahar, the guardian angels for humans and also the spirits of dead would come back for reunion. These spirits were entertained as honoured guests in their old homes, and were bidden a formal ritual farewell at the dawn of the New Year
There is no religious significance attached to Chaharshanbeh Souri and it serves as a cultural festival for Persians, Persian Jews, Muslims, Armenians, Kurds, Turks and Zoroastrians alike.
There is no actual date to celebrate this yearly festival in Gregorian calendar but, it’s always from march 15th to March 29th.
The date of this celebration this year is 17 march.
At the end we’ll appreciate those people who take this responsibility and make a logo for this anniversary.
